Designer of the Week : Band of Outsiders by Scott Sternberg Fall 2014 Collection

photo courtesy of Band of Outsiders and Vogue.com

Scott Sternberg designer of Los Angeles-based brand " Band of Outsiders" presented his fall 2014 collection during this season's New York Fashion Week .Given that each model was wearing dark sunglasses and the surrounding of the runway was a line-drawn illustration of an urban apartment in a state of disharmony with lean vintage silhouettes that were balanced with large boxy coats , I think it is to say that Sternberg was trying to portray a 1940's inspired collection. Some trends that were seen on the runway were menswear references , nipped waisted pencil dresses , pleated skirt-suits , fur toggle coats , and many more very womanly looks. Women all over the globe will go "Khaki wacky" over Scott Sternberg's Fall 2014 RTW Collection when it hits stores six months from now !
